The Good Old Internet

I am always on the lookout for interesting things to see and places to visit. Years ago I discovered Point Rock Tunnel on an old topographic map, and we went to check it out and sure enough there was a tunnel there.

It was around this time in 1972 that the remnants of Hurricane Agnes impacted the area. I’ve always been fascinated by that storm even though it was before my time. I just have heard so many stories about it.

The Three Mile Island meltdown was 27 years ago today. I can still remember seeing that on the evening news when I was a kid. It’s always fascinated me.
