With the remnants of what was Hurricane Ida approaching the and passing the area, it brought all sorts of extreme weather for this area and the entire region, really. Flooding all over the place and some tornadoes were the main features.
With the remnants of what was Hurricane Ida approaching the area then interacting with a cold front right in our area tomorrow and tomorrow night certainly look to be a mess. I don’t know if it will be right here In Mount Joy, but where everything set up, there will be a lot of rain.
The year of 2018 was a year of major flooding here in Central PA and Especially Lancaster County.
Tropical storm Fay was pretty interesting to watch. It never got strong, but it brought heavy rains to the southeast.

It looks like we’ll be in for some heavy rain and minor river flooding. I got woken up last night by howling winds.
It was around this time in 1972 that the remnants of Hurricane Agnes impacted the area. I’ve always been fascinated by that storm even though it was before my time. I just have heard so many stories about it.
Earlier this afternoon it ws looking good for thunderstorms. We only got some rain here since they ran out of time. Where they did hit they were slow moving and brought flash flooding.
