As long as we’ve lived here, there have been a bunch of gray squirrels running around. They used to be up in our silver maple tree running around all day long, but since that’s gone, that’s not an option for them anymore. I wonder if thy are confused because it was gone in a day.

They do tend to sit on the stump and eat. There’s a pile of acorn and seed shells on it. Early this afternoon I headed out to the garage and looked out the door and saw this one sitting on the edge of the tree stump.
