The Good Old Internet

I was relaxing and half zoning out to a point this afternoon while watching the Phillies spring training game. At least I was watching the one that was on TV. Talk about spiking anxiety when a couple of fire trucks came down our street and one started slowing down right out front. My heart was racing. It didn’t help matters one bit that I thought I smelled something in the house earlier this morning.

Thankfully, it seemed like it wasn’t a big deal because it didn’t take them long to start leaving. It’s not every day there’s a hose running down the street from the fire hydrant and as I go outside to look a firefighter is running down the street.

My nerves are a little more settled now, but I do still feel a bit on edge. That will probably last the rest of the day.

The Phillies won the game. Sanchez looked great! I didn’t have to burn my eyes out seeing Walker on the mound, either. He was at the other game that wasn’t on TV.
