Conestoga Trail - Suzies Hole

Last Saturday we went geocaching along the Conestoga trail in southern Lancaster County. I just love that part of the county! It’s more rugged than NW Lancaster, where we live. This picture just doesn’t do the place justice at all, but here it is.

Suzies hole near Pequea is an area where the Pequea creek runs through a gorge. It’s a deep spot is near big rocks and a small waterfall. The rapids are also called “The Washtub.” I really do love the interesting geology of southern Lancaster County.
